Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026 · Version 0.1 (draft)

Overview

Resonance Network ("we", "us") operates a coordination and evidence platform at resonancenet.co. We help initiatives assemble people and resources, agree in writing, and record verified outcomes. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

We are not an employer, payment custodian, or investment platform. Users define their own commercial terms; we record consent, versions, signatures, and tamper-evident proof records.

Data we collect

  • Account data: email, display name, role (client or contributor), authentication identifiers.
  • Profile and project data you provide: skills, motivations, project descriptions, agreements.
  • Engagement data: proposals, messages metadata (length and IDs — not message bodies in audit logs), proof records.
  • Media uploads: stored privately with engagement-scoped access; EXIF GPS metadata is stripped on upload.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, and session cookies required to operate the service.

Cookies & analytics

Essential cookies are required to run the site (authentication sessions, security, theme preference). These cannot be disabled while using the platform.

Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, when enabled) help us understand how visitors use the site. We only load analytics after you explicitly choose "Accept all" on our cookie banner. You may choose "Essential only" to decline analytics.

How we use data

  • Provide matching, discovery, agreement, and proof services.
  • Maintain security through row-level access controls on all engagement data.
  • Generate tamper-evident proof records with content hashes and signer metadata.
  • Improve the platform (with analytics only when consented).

On-chain data

Public blockchain anchoring is not live in the pilot. The current proof pipeline uses a simulated anchor. If public anchoring is introduced later, only cryptographic hashes of proof records may be written on-chain; full agreements, media, and personal data would remain off-chain, subject to legal review.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We use infrastructure providers (hosting, database, authentication) under data processing agreements. Agreement content is shared only with parties you explicitly grant access to.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area or UK, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us at hello@resonancenet.co to exercise these rights.

Deletion requests cascade to associated media. Proof records may be retained with redacted payloads where required for dispute resolution — subject to ongoing legal review.

Retention

We retain account and engagement data while your account is active and as needed to provide services and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account and associated data subject to proof-record retention requirements.
